What we collect

Your e-mail address, the name you choose, an optional profile photo, your stay dates at the campsite, how you travel, your children's age ranges (no names), languages, up to three interests, and the messages and photos you post in your group.

Photos

Photos are shrunk and re-saved on upload, which removes hidden data such as the GPS location. Chat photos are only visible to your group, your profile photo only to people who share a group with you. Please don't post photos in which other people's children can be recognised.

Who sees it

Only guests in the same group: same campsite, same week, same type of travel. Your e-mail address is only shown to people who, like you, turned on "stay in touch". Campsite staff cannot read the chats; they only see messages that someone reported.

Why, and on what basis

To put you in touch with other guests of the same campsite and week, at your request (your consent when joining, which you can withdraw at any time by deleting your account).

How long we keep it

Group chats and meet-ups are deleted 30 days after the group's week ends, your stay 30 days after you leave. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

Where it is stored

On servers in the European Union. Data is not sold or used for advertising.

Your rights

You can access, correct and delete your data, and object to its use. Contact privacy@example.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
